WWE Specifically Wanted Bray Wyatt Removed From WWE 2K22

Bray Wyatt’s release from WWE last year shocked the pro wrestling world to the core. Fans were frustrated with how he was booked throughout his career, as they felt he deserved better. WWE even requested to have Wyatt removed from WWE 2K22.

The Fiend was one of the hottest gimmicks in the history of the company. Unfortunately, WWE ended up dismantling the gimmick entirely, much to the dismay of fans.

WWE 2k22 finally came out three months ago after a lot of hype and it turned out to be a much more solid game than expected. Sean Sapp reported behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE requested to have Wyatt removed from WWE 2K22.

We’ve also heard the same that Mike Straw of SGO reported earlier this year, that WWE specifically wanted Bray Wyatt removed from the game.

The reason behind this is not known, but it is evident WWE and Wyatt parted on bad terms. Vince McMahon never saw Bray Wyatt as a top guy in WWE either. Now that Wyatt is seemingly ready, it remains to be seen when he’ll return to the business.
