Nick Cannon’s personal life has made headlines for years, especially in recent memory, as it became very evident that he’s fond of fathering children. There is an issue behind all that, and Cannon isn’t afraid to talk about it.
Cannon recently made an appearance on NYC’s 94.7 The Block, where in an interview with Shelley Wade, he acknowledged the erratic nature of his dating history.
When asked if he would consider marriage again, Cannon admitted to his failures towards the end of his answer to the question. In a somewhat coy tone, the singer admitted that he has “failed miserably so many times at monogamy and relationships.”
However, Cannon also added that “God ain’t done with [him],” adding to the remark that he is going to figure it out. Cannon also joked about having had “a few mid-life crises.” However, he quickly turned hopeful.
I’m liking the man that I’m growing into. And I feel like [I’d marry] someone who will understand me and can stand by me … where they’re weak, you’re strong.
Cannon ended his answer by saying that “if [he] can ever find somebody who knows how to hold [him] down through all [his] madness, through all [his] chaos and toxicity, that’s probably somebody [he] could rock with for life.”
