‘5 Seconds of Summer’ Drummer Ashton Irwin Rushed To Hospital During Concert

5 Seconds Of Summer is perhaps one of the most beloved pop bands that are active today. The band has made hit singles such as “Amnesia,” and their success is not a secret to the world. Just recently, their drummer Ashton Irwin had to be rushed to the hospital mid-show due to a medical emergency.

Fans of “5 Seconds of Summer” may be wondering why the band’s performance was cut short Sunday night. According to TMZ, the reason is that the drummer had to be taken to the hospital immediately. A band representative informed TMZ about the medical emergency.

Last night’s show ended early due to a medical incident during the show. Upon experiencing physical symptoms, Ashton [Irwin] was taken to a local hospital for tests and medical review. As a result, it was advised Ashton had experienced extreme heat exhaustion. Thankfully and most importantly, he is feeling ok and recovering very well.

The band was just 45 minutes into their Houston performance on Sunday night when someone announced to the crowd that they would be taking a quick break. The show was done, but attendees may keep their tickets. Since the show had already been moved from 2020, some fans were angry.
