Deshaun Watson has faced a bevy of horrible accusations of misconduct over the past several months. Despite this, the Cleveland Browns signed him to become their franchise quarterback with no backup plan. Watson recently settled several sexual assault lawsuits he was facing, but now his former team is being taken to court.
A woman who claims to be a victim of Deshaun Watson has sued the Houston Texans. The victim said that she was physically assaulted during a November 2020 massage. She accused Watson of exposing himself, inappropriately touching her, and even ejaculating onto her.
TMZ reports that the victim is represented by Tony Buzbee. Buzbee represents more than 20 of Deshaun Watson’s alleged victims. They contend that the Houston Texans not only turned a blind eye to Deshaun’s behavior but that they also helped him get away with it.
The suit claims that the Texans’ front office was well aware of Deshaun Watson’s behavior. They even allowed him to use team-owned massage tables and provided him with a non-disclosure agreement which he allegedly pressed women to sign after massage sessions. Buzbee noted that this is likely the first of many lawsuits the Texans will face over the matter.
The team said they have been fully supportive of investigations into Deshaun Watson’s actions. The Texans claim they have fully complied with law enforcement. They will continue to take the necessary steps to address the allegations.
Deshaun Watson has denied any wrongdoing. He has not been arrested or charged for the allegations. Still, the NFL is likely to hit him with stiff discipline after their internal investigation is complete.
