Laura Prepon is an American actress who rose to fame with her role as Donna Pinciotti in the Fox sitcom That ’70s Show. In 2022 Prepon will reprise her role as a guest appearance in That ’90s Show. Laura Prepon recently said that she wouldn’t be alive today if she didn’t have the power over her own body.
In the wake of the conservative Supreme Court conservatives overturning “Roe V. Wade,” many stars are coming forward with their abortion stories. Laura Prepon also joined in to discuss how she decided to end a life-threatening pregnancy. In the description of a photo of herself standing underneath a rainbow, Laura wrote her story.
One of the worst days of my life was when I made the choice to terminate a pregnancy in the second trimester. The devastating truth is that we found out the fetus would not survive to full term, and that my life was at risk as well. At the time – I had the choice.
Everyone has their own story for seeking out this medical procedure and I empathize with anyone who’s been faced with this impossible decision. I am praying for all of us, that we can get through this challenging time and regain agency over our own bodies.
Everyone has a unique reason for deciding to have this medical operation, and she can relate to anyone who has had to make this difficult choice. Celebrities like Eminem, Howard Stern, Cardi B and many more stepped forward to raise their voice against the Supreme Court decision.
