Mandy Moore Cancels Tour Due To Pregnancy

Mandy Moore was taking a huge nostalgia trip as she was touring for her fans. While the star was in the middle of her “In Real Life” tour, she had to cancel it after she revealed to her fans that she is pregnant.

Moore took to Instagram to explain to her fans why she thought it’s best to discontinue her tour. She told her fans that she needed to do it since she has to prepare for the birth of her second son along with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith.

The star told her fans that it has been a dream for her to get back on stage and perform for her fans. The “In Real Life” tour was Moore’s first set of shows in more than a decade.

It is with a heavy heart and much consideration that I have to let you all know that I am cancelling my remaining show dates in 2022. It has been an honor and an absolute dream to return to the stage again this past month, performing for all of you.

The “Candy” singer told her fans that initially, when she booked the shows, she wasn’t pregnant. While she thought she could finish performing all the dates, the touring lifestyle proved to be too much for her.

When we booked these shows, I wasn’t pregnant and although I truly thought I could power through, the way we are traveling (long hours on the bus and not getting proper rest) has caught up, taken its toll, and made it feel too challenging to proceed,” she wrote. “I know that I have to put my family and my health (and the health of my baby) first and the best place for me to be right now is at home. Moore took a break from her music career in order to focus on her personal life and acting career. The star tied a knot with Taylor Goldsmith back in November 2018, and the couple had their first son, ‘Gus,’ back in February 2021. Moore announced her pregnancy earlier this month, saying that “Gus is gonna be the BEST big brother!!”

We’re wishing Mandy the best as she continues this new journey in life.
