Alec Baldwin is still dealing with the catastrophes in his life, particularly the fatal shooting on the set of Rust. That event injured director Joel Souza and murdered cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Baldwin was also recently mocked for his terrible Spanish in Instagram Live.
Radar Online has learned that Alec Baldwin is receiving criticism for his “terrible” Spanish while speaking with Woody Allen on Instagram Live. This comes after his wife had a similar scandal. Baldwin could be heard shouting at an aide to stop the dogs from barking at one point in the chat.
In the midst of Wi-Fi issues, Baldwin shouted while still on Live, drawing listeners’ attention. “Leonetta! Basta! Las perritas! Basta! Las perritas, suficiente!” Meanwhile, some users brought up Hilaria’s Spanish-speaking controversy.
One user wrote: “Inexplicably interviewing Woody Allen on Instagram Live, watching as Woody loses WiFi, and then getting up to yell something in Spanish that I, a native Spanish speaker, can’t understand has surpassed Schweddy Balls as the new funniest thing Alec Baldwin has ever done.”
Another tweeted: “Didn’t know you were Spanish too. Your Spanish is so authentic, just like your wife’s.”
After Hilaria’s name started trending on Twitter in 2020, the former cast member of Saturday Night Live earlier come out in support of her. Social media users at the time asserted that she was impersonating a Spanish accent, uploading video from numerous appearances to support their claims. Hilaria was keen to correct the record, informing them that she was born in Boston and spent her childhood travelling between Massachusetts and Spain with her family.
As for Allen, the 86-year-old filmmaker admitted that “a lot of the joy has gone” and that he is thinking about retiring soon. Allen avoided addressing recently emerged allegations of sexual assault against him. Check out the tweets below.
