Chris Brown Explains Why He Had Beef With Soulja Boy

Soulja Boy is one of the most established rappers in the current hip-hop world and it’s hard to deny this as well. He proclaims himself as one of the all-time greats and he does not lack in the confidence department. He also had beef with Chris brown in the past.

For the past few years, Soulja Boy has never failed to let everyone know just how influential he has been to the hip-hop industry. However, he is not someone just about everyone can vibe with.

While speaking with Drink Champs, Chris Brown talked about his beef with Soulja Boy from a few years ago. The singer would then go on to explain why he had beef with the rapper in the first place.

“I [have] to look at that situation as like, some funny, kiddy sht that nggas was going through, claiming the hood and honestly it just made the hood look bad. Just even doing some weirdo, corny ass sht. That was some real light-skinned corny sht to be doin’… So, for me, I was just like, all that sht is dead. Ain’t nobody trippin’ off that sht.”

It was just—Soulja is a character, man. Once you get to know him and know that it’s really all love, [it’s like,] ‘You straight.’ All that sh*t, I look back on that like, ‘Damn I really finna fire blood sht up. Nah, it ain’t even worth it. That sh*t stupid.’ But it’s cool, everything all good.”

Chris Brown also recently opened up about his beef with Drake. Chris Brown is also determined to work with Beyoncé. We’ll have to see what’s next in store for Brown.
