Singer and Songwriter Beyoncé announced her seventh studio album Renaissance on June 15th. The first singe from the album, “Break My Soul,” was released shortly after. While fans have been waiting in anticipation for the full album to release next month, Beyoncé gave everyone a bit of what the album may entail with a revealing cover photo.
Queen Bey took to Instagram and posted a photo of herself riding a holographic horse and wearing nothing but silver chains. Beyoncé included the caption, “act i. RENAISSANCE. 7.29, possibly hinting that the album would be split up into separate chapters.
Bey continued to write that how creating the album allowed her to feel “free and adventures” and that she hoped anyone who listened would feel the same. Beyoncé has been credited with being a prominent voice in black culture. She has also donated money to help out during the housing crisis in 2020.
After “Break My Soul” was released, it immediately became a hit amongst fans of Beyoncé’s work. The full album is scheduled to be release on July 29th. There is no word on who would be collaborating on the project.
