Lil Tjay Conscious & Talking After Shooting

Lil Tjay underwent emergency surgery after he was shot last week in Edgewater, New Jersey. Fans held their breath as one of the internet’s most popular rappers fought for his life. Tjay has been recovering since his operation and things seem to be looking more promising by the day.

TMZ reports that Lil Tjay is making major progress in his recovery. After being shot multiple times, he was unconscious and had to rely on a breathing tube. Now, Tjay is awake and alert.

Lil Tjay no longer has his breathing tube. There were no ill effects from that procedure, as his voice is said to sound just the same as before. Now that he can talk, the police are looking to have a word with him.

Three men were arrested in connection with the shooting just one day after it happened. Police believe one of them was the trigger man. They would now like to get Lil Tjay’s side of the story.

In April, Lil Tjay was accused of robbing a man at gunpoint. It is unknown if his shooting had anything to do with that incident. In any case, authorities want more details into just what happened the night Tjay was shot.

Police believe that Tjay was being robbed by a man named Mohamed Konate. It is not known if there are any ties between the two. Now that he is recovering, it will be interesting to hear what Tjay has to say about the night he was nearly gunned down.
