Bret Michaels’ band Poison remains one of the most popular bands right now. However, they had to cancel a recent concert after Bret Michaels was hospitalized. He has now provided an update on his condition as well.
It was said that he had to be taken to the hospital due to a bad reaction to medication. Naturally, fans were worried about his well-being, as they feared the worst.
Hours after news broke that he was hospitalized, Bret Michaels took to Instagram and thanked all of his fans who wished for him. He also apologized for canceling the Nashville concert.
“I was truly fired up to get on stage in the music city and perform, but due to an unknown complication & following hospitalization, it was not possible.
“I send my deepest apologies for being unable to rock the stage tonight!!!” he continued. “I’m working on being back 100% very soon & hope you rocked hard with my friends Motley [Crüe]/[Def] Leppard/Joan [Jett & The Blackhearts] and Classless Act!!!”
Michaels did not mention whether he or his band will perform at their concerts scheduled for Saturday in Florida and Sunday in Mississippi. Regardless, we hope he will make a full recovery soon enough.
