Cardi B has dropped her first single of this year, ‘Hot Sh*t’ which features Lil Durk and Kanye West. However, to fans’ surprise, the single didn’t arrive without a music video, but Cardi B explained that the music video has been delayed.
With practically every single that she has recently released or appeared on, Cardi B has consistently delivered eye-catching visuals, but Cardi B recently revealed in an Apple Music 1 interview with Zane Lowe on New Music Daily that the “Hot Sh*t” music video has been delayed because of drama and CGI problems.
“Oh my goodness, I don’t want to talk about the video” Cardi explained. “Because this video has brought me so much drama. So this is the first time I ever do CGI. I’m very particular on how I like my things, and I really like when things look super realistic.”
The ‘WAP’ rapper continued, “I like building sets, or I like to be in a place. Like if I want to do a video on a supermarket, I’m going to do the video in the supermarket. You know what I’m saying?”
“So this is my first time trying CGI, and it was something very different for me,” Cardi said. “I couldn’t maneuver or move how I wanted to, because I was very confused. After I finished the video, I find out that this sh*t takes so long. I did this video around March, and it’s still not even ready yet. And it’s just so frustrating that I’m like, ‘You know what? Just put the f*cking song out. I don’t even give a f*ck anymore. I’m over it.'”
It is yet to be confirmed when the music video will release, but it will come in time for sure. Meanwhile, watch Cardi B’s Apple Music 1 interview below, and stay tuned to Thirsty for more updates!
