Mike Tyson is certainly one of the most legendary boxers in the history of professional boxing. Tyson is known for his insane power and intimidating stature that has planted fear in the hearts of his opponents. Tyson also made a claim about his last match recently.
Mike Tyson squared off against Roy Jones Jr. in an eight-round exhibition bout at the Staples Center in Los Angeles back on November 28th of 2020. The fight ended in an unexpected split draw, but it certainly surpassed all expectations.
While speaking on podcast ‘The Pivot,” Mike Tyson talked bout his match against Roy Jones Jr. He claimed that he was high on mushrooms during the right, and it helped him focus.
We don’t use [mushrooms] to run away. It helps me train, it helps me box better.
“When I’m fighting, I really don’t feel the punches. It’s really just like some magical s***.
“You saw me just fight [against Roy Jones Jr]. I was on shrooms.
“I wouldn’t fight without them, are you crazy? And some weed.
“I wish I did this s*** in my career, I’m so f****** mad I didn’t know about this s***”.
Mike Tyson continues to be a huge part of pop culture and has his own cannabis business alongside WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair. We’ll have to see what’s next in store for the legendary boxer.
