The Game has experienced a number of unforgettable moments over his amazing career, however, not all of them have been pleasant ones. One of those memories was an incredibly unsettling one, but it also helped shape him in many ways.
In a recent interview with the Full Send Podcast, the recording artist discussed his first encounter with a dead body, as well as other horrific tragedies he’s witnessed.
Taylor was just seven years old when he first witnessed a murder. He told the hosts, “It was just a drive-by shooting, somebody got hit.”
“It was late out and we were outside playing and you know, of course, people are always like, some people run left, away, and other nosy ass people come towards whatever happened.
But yeah, we were throwing a football in the street. Which is crazy, because when you think about playing football in the street with cars parked on both sides, it’s the wildest shit, right? You can be running in that shit all the time.”
The “Eazy” collaborator claimed that while walking down the street with his young pals, they noticed that someone had been shot. He said, “And it just be over like that.” The Game also discussed the most horrific death he had ever seen, which involves an eyeball becoming stuck in a car door lock.
“I saw two Spanish dudes get shot in a Buick Regal. Two bullet holes through the back window, both dead, and of their eyeballs was stuck. You remember how old locks used to be, you could kinda pull them up? His eye was stuck in that.”
The Game remembered feeling sorry for the deceased and even wanting to lift his head because he thought it would be “f*cked up” for a victim to be discovered in such a terrible manner. Stay tuned to Thirsty for the latest updates.
