Lindsay Lohan and Bader Shammas announced their engagement in November 2021, nearly over a year after the two had begun dating and before the COVID-19 outbreak put the people under lockdown. However, it appears that the couple has finally tied the knot.
The Mean Girls actress and her financier fiancé got married in a private ceremony just hours before her 36th birthday. A representative for the actress told Hollywood Life, “Yes, Lindsay Lohan is married”, confirming the report.
Lindsay posted a lovely picture of the couple on Instagram on Saturday to mark the occasion. Lindsay expressed her astonishment at becoming Bader’s wife and her gratitude for her good fortune.
“I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this everyday.”
The Parent Trap actress flaunted her stunning engagement ring on Instagram after her engagement in November, alongside some adorably beautiful PDA photos of her cuddling up to her now-husband. “My love. My life. My family. My future,” she wrote in the caption.
In a now-deleted Instagram post from February 2020, Lindsay first introduced Bader to her followers. She wrote in the caption of the photo that she spent a “lovely night” with her sister Aliana and the man she would later marry. Although it’s not known when the two started dating, the February post came roughly a month after Lindsay had flirtatiously commented on a few of Liam Hemsworth’s images.
