Prison Inmates Complain About Josh Duggar Receiving Special Treatment In Leaked Recording

Josh Duggar was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison for receiving and possessing child pornography back in May. Duggar was recently moved from Texas’ Federal Correctional Institution, Seagoville, to the Washington County Detention Center. A recent leaked prison recording revealed the inmates’ reaction to Josh getting special treatment.

Inmates at the Texas prison where Josh Duggar will serve the next 12 years were overheard complaining about being made to clean the facility before the disgraced reality television star arrived this week on a covert jailhouse tape. A group of prisoners provided commentary as Duggar, or Inmate #42501-509, settled into his new residence in a six-minute audio track that was leaked from the Federal Correctional Institute Seagoville south of Dallas, Texas.

One thug was heard saying: “They wanted us to come in and make the place look all clean and sh-t before he got here.”

Another said: “We didn’t know what f*ck it was.”

A third prisoner said: “I heard about that dude when I was at my last spot. When the sh-t hit the fan, and the show got canceled. All that crazy sh-t because of him. I said, ‘It would be crazy being in a unit with somebody like that. My buddy, at that spot, told me he was in the place that Michael Vick was in, the football player.”

Another joked: “You would think with that being a reality show that they wouldn’t have canceled it… that’s reality. The thing is reality isn’t really reality!”

Another chimed in: “It is all scripted.”

A formal inquiry into how the tape was captured and how it was leaked is expected to be launched as a result of the recording’s release, which represents a significant security breach for the federal government. According to the Bureau of Prisons website, Seagoville is a low security federal correctional institution with an adjacent minimum security satellite camp and a detention center.

Inmates in Seagoville include a fervent supporter of Donald Trump in politics who was found guilty of sex trafficking, as well as a former Sesame Street composer who once took pictures of a four-year-old child.

Douglas Perlitz, the creator of a school for homeless children in Haiti, resides there as well. Perlitz acknowledged having sex with eight children without their consent in 2010. According to the prosecution, Perlitz threatened to remove male students from the Project Pierre Toussaint School in Cap-Haitien and withheld rewards if they disobeyed him.
