Travis Barker is one of the most frequently talked-about celebrities. The 46-year-old drummer often makes it to headlines for his good times with wife Kourtney Kardashian and his body ink collection. However, the last few days have been tough for him.
Barker was taken to hospital, and finally got transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for additional care. The star got diagnosed with pancreatitis, something that has become quite a cause of concern for his fans and family.
His daughter took to Instagram and implored her followers to pray for Barker. While Barker obviously couldn’t make an appearance at his performance with Machine Gun Kelly, his son Landon Barker fulfilled the duties in an incredible manner.
The Blink-182 drummer took to Instagram in order to shoot out his first direct word to his fans ever since his hospitalization. He recounted the experience and said that a mishandling of his endoscopy led to critical pancreatitis.
I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great. But After dinner, I developed excruciating pain and I have been hospitalized ever since. During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in the very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted in severe life threatening pancreatitis.
Kourtney Kardashian also took to Instagram to express her gratitude for Barker healing from the illness. Kardashian has been alongside the drummer during his time of hospitalization. After hearing word from the two, it seems Barker is going to come out of this alright.
