The Backstreet Boys were joined by the sixth boy in their group, but it takes a special kind of person to fit into that troupe. Drake, and his sudden appearance at the concert, surprised the crowd at the Budweiser stage in Toronto. Drizzy surely lived a million-dollar moment as he sang one of the most popular songs from the band.
TMZ reported that Drizzy took the short drive from his massive estate to the Budweiser Stage in Toronto to catch a performance of the famed boy band. It didn’t take long for the Backstreet Boys to invite the city’s most famous resident up on stage.
Drake then joined the boys in “I Want It That Way,” but before singing the group’s biggest hit, he told the audience how the song had an impact on his life. Drake said when he was 13 he was an awkward kid with a serious crush on a girl he knew, but apparently, his feelings weren’t reciprocated at the time.
At Drake’s Bar Mitzvah, the girl was there and came up to him and asked him if he wanted to dance, and the song was “I Want It That Way.” Drake said it was the first time he felt cool. Soon after, the group broke into the song and the audience went nuts.
Drake also shared several snaps from the evening, along with a video of him singing I Want It That Way with band members. Taking to his Instagram stories, Drake shared a picture of him performing with the Backstreet Boys on stage. You can check it all out below.
