R. Kelly is in one giant legal cesspool of problems. However, his trial has come to an end. The singer was found guilty on all nine counts in the federal case against him. The victims finally got justice, and they were glad that their abuser was rightfully prosecuted against.

Kelly received a long sentence of 30 years. Apparently, after getting the sentence, the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) Brooklyn revealed that they planned on keeping the singer under an Extra Restrictive Sentence.

The artist’s team had some opposition to it. In a statement, the singer’s attorney claimed that the Detention Center has “punitive reasonsfor putting him under the restrictive watch. The Detention Center also got hit with a lawsuit. However, the officials gave their account of why they decided to do it.

The US Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn stated that the suicide watch is “for his own safety.” The office’s papers that were filed in court reveal that the decision was made after the star has a psychological assessment done on him. R. Kelly was recently found destitute after he lost $900 million in financial exploitation. Boosie Badazz apparently thinks that his three-decade long sentence is apparently too long. Kelly definitely has enough problems that demand he be placed under suicide watch. However, his victims had to be brought to justice.
