Valerie Loureda recently retired from Bellator MMA and decided to fulfil her dream to become a pro wrestler. Now that she’s in WWE, Valerie wants a piece of Ronda Rousey.
Loureada confirmed her exit from MMA and signed a contract with WWE. The 23-year-old will make her Performance Center debut this month.
While speaking to TMZ Sports, Valerie Loureda was asked about her potential opponents in WWE. Loureda made it clear she would love to square off against Ronda Rousey.
“Definitely, Ronda. She tweeted the other day ‘Who’s next?’ and before I even found out I was getting a contract with WWE, I tweeted back, ‘me,'” Loureda said of Rousey. “And that’s the goal I have one day.
I never watched MMA before in my life, and just so happens, Ronda was fighting, and I saw a beautiful woman fighting in a cage … and I got goosebumps.”
Iii said, ‘Nana, if she’s doing that, I can do it too,’ and that’s really what gave me all that fire and passion inside of me to begin my martial arts journey.””
Valerie Loureda, at the age of 23, is still in her youth. With a 4-1 mma record, the sky is truly the limit of for the young star. We’ll have to see how she will fare in WWE.
