Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury has become a dream fight at this point. The bout has been talked about since last year. While in June it seemed like their fight was definitely happening, Fury revealed he’s run into a massive problem.
Tyson Fury’s half brother and Jake Paul are scheduled to fight each other at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on 6 August. But he recently claimed that the Fury family is denied entry in the U.S.
Jake Paul doesn’t really believe in that excuse. Tommy Fury backed out of fighting Paul once before in December. However, he withdrew because of having an injury and feeling sick.
Fury says that everyone from the Fury family is banned in the U.S. because of their ties with a criminal organization. Paul spoke to his lawyers, who revealed that all Fury needs to do is drop by the embassy to get his visa. Now Jake Paul has issued an ultimatum for Fury on Twitter. He said Fury would be out of the fight if he doesn’t get his visa by Wednesday.
Tommy is officially out by Wednesday morning if he doesn’t go to the embassy / come out of hiding.
3 other opponents lined up. I’m built different.
Jake Paul had to fight former UFC champion Tyron Woodley last time, Fury backed out. On the other hand, Fury’s latest fight was in April, when he won against Daniel Bocianski. We hope Tommy Fury delivers both on getting his visa and giving a tremendous performance in the scheduled bout.
