Tamar Braxton Spotted With Ex David Adesfeco Two Years After Messy Breakup

Tamar Braxton and David Adesfeco started dating in 2018, but they parted ways in 2020 after allegations of domestic violence. Rumors of their reconciliation were circulating, as Tamar and David were recently seen together.

Braxton and her ex-boyfriend were seen together again in New Orleans over the weekend, fueling speculation of a reconciliation. The Neighborhood Talk published a photo of the former couple going around the Essence Music Festival on Sunday, looking like they’re back in action. In the photo, the 45-year-old R&B artist is seen walking with a security guard while wearing a bright green shirt.

According to Radar Online, David walked right behind Tamar, neither of them concerned about being spotted out and about. David filed a petition for a domestic violence restraining order in Los Angeles Superior Court in August 2020. He asked the court for protection, alleging Tamar attacked him while he was driving and threatened to kill him.

According to court documents, David claimed the singer punched him in the throat during an altercation. He claimed her activities were the cause of his car accident. Tamar allegedly trashed the car after David parked it.

David recalled a previous conversation with Tamar in the petition, in which she informed him her ex-husband planned to sick thugs on him. At the time, David said Tamar was threatening to have the “goons” come after him. The court ultimately granted David a temporary restraining order, requiring his ex to keep 100 yards away from him.

“I’ve been a victim of domestic violence, of domestic assault. I was attacked.
I never laid a hand on Tamar Braxton or any woman in my entire life.
I’ve never, ever, ever, and never will ever put my hand on a woman. I grew up in a household where my parents were married for 50 years… and my mom and dad were the most loving and kind couple… I didn’t grow up in that [kind of] environment.”

Tamar refuted the charges, and the court finally dismissed the restraining order. Tamar was rushed to the hospital after David allegedly found her unresponsive in her hotel room after consuming an unknown amount of prescription pills.
