The 4th of July parade in Highland Park turned into a shooting range when the 22-year-old Crimo opened fire on the crowd from the rooftop of a nearby establishment. Over two-dozen people were hurt, and at least six people lost their lives. Shocking new details reveal that he was cross-dressed at the time of shooting.
As a result of Crimo’s arrest for the July Fourth massacre, which resulted in at least six deaths and 24 injuries, shocking new information about his past has come to light. According to CNN, Robert “Bobby” Crimo III was wearing women’s attire when he allegedly shot more than 70 rounds into the audience at the Highland Park parade on Monday.
Crimo, the shooting suspect who has been detained and identified, was allegedly dressed in opposite sex clothing when he scaled a building’s rooftop and started firing into the gathering. The shooting is now being described by police as a “preplanned” strike. In addition, Crimo went to his mother’s house first after the murder and left there in her car.
A second rifle was discovered by the police in the vehicle. According to this source, investigators don’t think there was any further involvement. We now know that Crimo bought his gun in Illinois legitimately.
Crimo was laid off at Panera Bread during the epidemic and resided in an apartment behind his parents’ house. He also backed Donald Trump and maintained a side hustle as a rapper on Spotify with more than 16,000 followers. In his rap videos, he glamorized shootings and guns.
After an eight-hour manhunt, police managed to capture Crimo at 6:30 PM on Monday. Eight miles from the scene of the shooting, in Lake Forest, he was finally found. A few hours prior to the massacre, on Sunday night, he also went into detail about what Crimo was doing. Crimo is being held in custody while he waits for his initial court appearance. He is not facing any charges.
