Brad Pitt is one of the film industry’s prolific actors and producers. His next outing will be director David Leitch’s Bullet Train, in which Pitt plays an unlucky American assassin. Although Pitt has been regarded as a true power player in the industry with tremendous strength and beauty, a new report revealed he also has his vulnerabilities.
According to TMZ, the actor suffers from a condition called prosopagnosia. The condition is characterized by the person’s inability to recognize people by looking at their faces, including family members. About two and a half percent of the population suffers from it.
Pitt, in the past, has been called out for upsetting people because he never truly recognizes anyone. The actor stated over the years that he’s taken a lot of flak from many people. He told GQ that when he says he doesn’t honestly remember people’s faces, “nobody believes him.”
The report says that people with the condition use other markers to ID their friends and families. To Pitt’s credit, he is still applauded for his gifts behind and in front of the camera. Despite his condition, the actor continues to be a prolific force in the film industry.
