Kim Kardashian is certainly one of the hottest stars in the world. She wants to branch out from reality television and open her own law firm to assist death row inmates. Kim previously announced that she passed the baby bar legal exam, and it only took her several tries. Kim Kardashian also recently advocated for the release of WNBA star Brittney Griner via her Instagram Stories.
Griner has been detained in Russia for more than four months in what the federal government claims to be an unjustified detention. The only thing she was caught with was a couple THC carts.
Kim K shared a message that comedian Amy Schumer had written the previous week along with a picture of Griner, who was seen testifying in a Russian court.
Let’s go everybody. This is not okay. #freebrittneygriner now. All hands on deck. Make some noise.
Along with Kardashian, reality star Lisa Rinna and actress Anneliese van der Pol all expressed support for Schumer’s post. In response to news that President Joe Biden had read Griner’s handwritten letter urging him to ‘forget about [her] and the other American Detainees,’ the Associated Press said. Kardashian shared the post with her 322 million Instagram followers.
She is currently in court in Russia, where, according to the AP, less than 1% of criminal offenders win acquittals, which can be reversed later. The charges against Griner carry a potential prison sentence of up to 10 years in Russia. Check out Kim’s Instagram story screenshot below.
