Travis Barker has greatly elevated his status in the music industry, which was clearly evident during his tough days. Fans continued to cheer for Travis and send get well-wishes as he fought pancreatitis, and it really worked. The Blink-182 drummer is already back to work.
Travis Barker appears to be getting back to work because he is returning to the studio following his release from the hospital. On Tuesday, Travis was seen driving a Mercedes G Wagon into a Calabasas recording facility to work his creative magic.
The Blink-182 drummer emerged from his car in the studio’s parking lot wearing black sunglasses and a “D.O.A.” T-shirt, showing that he is clearly feeling a lot better. When he arrived at the studio, he gave the studio manager a spirited fist bump before entering.
About 30 minutes later, according to TMZ, a number of additional musicians as well as Travis’ assistant went out for a food and coffee run before the entire group arrived at the studio. They reportedly rocked out for hours, so whatever Travis and company were cooking up behind those doors must have been amazing.
This happened after Travis was taken to the hospital by ambulance last week. He had a colonoscopy, which led to pancreatitis, a serious medical condition that kept him in the hospital bed for days as it was treated.
“During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted in severe life threatening pancreatitis.”
Thankfully, Travis appears to be recovered and has resumed his work. Barker is one example of a true artist who, no matter what the circumstance, cannot be away from his work. What do you think of it? Keep checking Thirsty for more updates.
