Adele ‘Felt Terrible’ About Fan Response Over Her Weight Loss

Adele might entertain the masses with her vocal skills, but it seems she didn’t get a positive response over her weight loss transformation two years ago. The singer recently opened up about her experience with fan backlash.

Adele appeared for an interview with Desert Island Discs, where she opened up about the fan reaction to her transformation. She was quite upset with the response she received from her fans.

There were some other people who felt very betrayed by me. I felt terrible for some people that felt like other people’s comments meant that they weren’t looking good or that they weren’t beautiful.

Even though Adele was pleased with the fans who encouraged her development, she was sad about the negative remarks. She even recalled feeling awful for fans making people doubt their own attractiveness and bodies.

During the Covid lockdown, Adele shared her weight loss photo, which came as quite a surprise to fans. Many fans were not happy about the singer conforming to current beauty standards. That being said, Adele does what she wants and when she wants.
