Nicki Minaj sure has a huge fan base, but Barbz have occasionally gotten the artist into trouble with their crazy actions. This is yet another instance of a megastar’s fan base going overboard, but it’s all for the love of their queen.
Minaj was all set to headline London’s Wireless Festival on July 10, Sunday, and her fans came out in full force. Some of them even climbed over gates and barriers to get a good spot.
On Saturday, July 9th, Nicki posted a series of pictures from her private plane on Instagram to inform her followers that she had arrived in the United Kingdom. She could be seen wearing only a pair of knee-high black boots, an oversized t-shirt, sunglasses, and a red and blonde wig. She was obviously in a mood to stun.
Minaj included lyrics from her 2018 Queen song, “Chun-Li,” in the post, writing, “Here go some haterade get ya thirst quenched. Styled on’m in this Burberry trench.”
She then uploaded a video of herself exiting her private plane and strutting across the street. “I’m in the UKAAAAYYYYYY. Just touch down in ah di G5. You know I’m buzzin like a bee hive.”
Nicki appeared on IG Live before her performance to seek song suggestions from her 197M followers and to address pregnancy rumors that had been making the rounds online.
“Oh, I did mean to tweet this: ‘I’m not fat, y’all, I’m pregnant,” she said, apparently causing a flurry of frenzy within fans. However, she subsequently explained that she had meant to say “fat, not pregnant.”
