Kanye West Unfollows Nicki Minaj On Instagram Following ‘Clown’ Comments

Kanye West has a large ego, and the music business is fully aware of it. The Chicago-native rapper isn’t the one to take criticisms lightly. It seems that attitude has cost Ye a valuable friendship.

Kanye West unfollowed Nicki Minaj on Instagram on Monday, July 11th. Fans are speculating this is due to Nicki referring to him as “clown” during ESSENCE Festival earlier in July in New Orleans. She also skipped from performing ‘Monster’ at the show, her collaborative song with Ye.

A monster though! A monster though! But we don’t f*ck with clowns.

Kanye and Nicki’s friendship dates back to the release of ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ in 2010. That was Kanye’s fifth studio album, and Nicki had one of her most legendary verses on it. Unfortunately, she no longer wishes to be associated with Ye.

Fans might be hoping to see the two squash their beef, but it is certainly not happening anytime soon. On the other hand, Kanye has a lot going on in his business life, he recently filed an important trademark as well.
