Marion Barber III was an established NFL star. The former Dallas Cowboys player was found dead back on June 1st. He was found by the Frisco Police Department in Texas. An investigation ensued to determine the cause of the star’s death, and it has finally revealed.
The Collin County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that the cause of death for the star was an unfortunate heat stroke. They also said that his death was accidental in nature, TMZ reports.
Marion Barber III was just 38 years old at the time of his passing. He played as a running back for the Cowboys, who picked him up in the fourth round of the NFL draft back in 2005.
Barber III’s attorney Zoltan Papp claims that the star showed no signs of trouble before his sudden passing. Papp added that he was working on his trucking venture while helping some inner-city kids through his finances.
The former Cowboys player spent seven seasons playing in the NFL. While his 6 seasons were with the Cowboys, he also played with the Bears. His stats are at 4,780 rushing yards, and 53 rushing touchdowns with playing over 99 total games. We hope he rests in peace and good wishes to his family and friends.
