Bobby Shmurda Talking To 50 Cent About Joining Cast Of ‘Power’

Bobby Shmurda has been a busy man recently. When he is not relishing in the adulation of his fans, Bobby has been working on an autobiography. In addition to his work as a rapper, Shmurda has some other interests he would love to pursue.

One of those pursuits is acting. Bobby Shmurda has been trying to land a role in 50 Cent’s hit ‘Power’ franchise. The two have been discussing the possibility recently.

In an interview with HotNewHipHop, Bobby said he spoke to 50 Cent about two weeks ago. He spoke to talent agents who work with Fif on the show. Bobby Shmurda is all for the idea.

“Me and 50 were on a two-hour call like two weeks ago. Some talent agents I was talking to, they help 50 with Power and STARZ and all that other sh*t. So you know he wants me to act and they want me to act so we just talking about a couple of sh*t right now. He got like 25 shows. You know, he called me like, ‘N*gga, you know I got like 25 shows. You ready to do 26 & 27?’ Like, stop playin’, n*gga! You know I want this shmoney, n*gga!”

Nothing is official as of yet. 50 Cent has been busy going back and forth with Starz because of a recent change in programming philosophy. He has been shopping various shows elsewhere after pulling multiple shows from the network.

Bobby Shmurda is hoping 50 Cent finds a landing place for his productions soon. He would love to be a part of it. It sounds like there is some interest from Fif, as well.
