Tom Brady Says He Hasn’t Talked To Donald Trump In Years

Tom Brady may be one of the best professional football players of all time, but he’s not without his flaws. In the past, Brady has spent time golfing and hanging out with disgraced former United States President Donald Trump. After spending years lying to the American people about a stolen 2020 election that he legitimately lost, Trump has fallen out of favor in many circles.

Tom Brady was close with The Donald all the way into his bid for the Republican nomination in 2015. He even kept a MAGA hat in his locker. Since then, a lot of controversy has surrounded Trump, and now it appears Brady is attempting to distance himself from his old pal.

In a recent interview with Variety, Tom Brady was asked about his friendship with Donald Trump. He said that he has not spoken to Trump in several years. Brady once thought hanging out with Donald was very cool, now he barely has anything to say about him.

“No. I haven’t talked to him in a lot of years.”

Brady said that the press has mischaracterized his relationship with Donald Trump over the years. He said that while he agrees with him on some things, there are others that he does not. Brady said he doesn’t want to be held responsible for things that other people say.

Now that his bromance with Donald Trump has cooled off, Tom Brady is getting ready for training camp. After a brief retirement, Tom decided that he couldn’t leave the NFL without taking a crack at another Super Bowl. Once he’s done with that, he has a very nice retirement nest egg waiting.
