The multi-hyphenated entertainer Nick Cannon is well recognized for discussing a variety of subjects, including his life. Even Nick Cannon would wager on himself if he were a sports bettor. The comedian, who is expecting the birth of his ninth kid, claimed it’s “safe to bet” he’ll have at least three more children this year.
When discussing the possibility of enlarging his ever expanding family, Cannon didn’t hold back recently when chatting to “Entertainment Tonight.” Turner quickly calculated that Abby De La Rosa, the mother of Cannon’s twins, and model Bre Tiesi, who is expecting Cannon’s seventh kid, are both expecting at the same time.
De La Rosa has not yet publicly identified the father of her unborn child, though. Turner questioned Cannon before speculating that it might be his child. Cannon told host Nischelle Turner that giving away the number would spoil the fun but it’s safe to bet he’ll be having three more babies this year.
That would take all the fun out of it if I just gave you a number right now. You would be close. You would be safe to bet on three [more children] in 2022.
In an interview with Angela Yee on her podcast, “Lip Service,” last month, Cannon hinted to his impending parenthood by saying, “The stork is on the road.” The “Masked Singer” presenter is already the father of Powerful Queen, one year old, and Golden “Sagon,” who is five years old, twins Monroe and Moroccan, both of whom he shares with his ex-wife Brittany Bell.
Twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir are also his and De La Rosa’s. Zen, a son born to Cannon and Alyssa Scott, passed away in December 2021 at the age of five months after being diagnosed with brain cancer. Cannon stated in October that he intended to remain celibate until 2022. However, that’s a goal he most definitely did not appear to meet.
