NBA YoungBoy is currently one of the most recognizable and controversial rappers in the hip-hop world. Never Broke Again YoungBoy has also faced his own fair share of legal issues over the years. He will also face yet another gun charge.
The rapper is no longer in jail but that doesn’t mean he’s free just yet. NBA YoungBoy is still under house arrest to serve the rest of his sentence. Despite being confined to his own home, his work hasn’t suffered.
NBA YoungBoy recently beat his federal gun case in California. After being arrested by the FBI in 2021, the rapper might have been jailed for years. However, his legal team was able to have his song lyrics removed from the case and argued there was a lack of fingerprints.
However, according to XXL, YoungBoy has yet another gun charge pinned against him in Louisiana. In September 2020, YoungBoy and his friends were apprehended while doing a video shoot in front of an abandoned house.
Police claimed they gathered multiple guns, marijuana, Xanax, and other paraphernalia from the scene. This resulted in him being charged and released on bail.
In March of this year, the judge decided to throw out photo and video evidence that the prosecutors planned on submitting. As revealed by court documentation, the case is still in the works as both sides work on structuring their arguments. The case’s next conference will be held on August 2, 2022.
