Chris Evans Is ‘Laser-Focused On Finding A Partner’

Chris Evans rose to prominence as Steve Rogers/Captain America in multiple Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Aside from his career and work life, he is also focused on something else. He is lately focused on looking for his soulmate.

While speaking with Us Magazine, Chris Evans stated that he is looking for “The One” with passion. The actor plays an assassin obsessed with hunting down his victim Ryan Gosling in Netflix’s The Gray Man. Evans was recently questioned if he’d ever been so committed to any sort of search in his own life.

“I’m gonna give you a good answer. The answer would be that maybe [I’m] laser-focused on finding a partner, you know, someone that you want to live with.”

The former Captain America star expressed his enthusiasm for filmmaking. However, he hinted that managing his profession and finding love is difficult.

“I mean, look — I love what I do. It’s great; I pour all of myself into it. But in terms of — even this industry is full of pockets of doubt, hesitation, and recalibration in terms of really trying to find someone that you really can pour all of yourself into. Maybe it’s about trying to find someone that you’re looking to spend your life with. Yes, so maybe it’s that.”

Evans has previously been connected to Jessica Biel and Minka Kelly, with Jenny Slate being his most recent public romance. The couple met while portraying love interests in the 2017 film Gifted, and their relationship flourished behind the scenes. The pair split up once before reuniting in November 2017 before finalizing their separation in March 2018.

His relationships are always kept under wraps. However, the Knives Out star has made no secret of his desire to settle down with a partner and become a father. In 2019, he shared it with Men’s Journal.

“I really want kids. Yeah, I do. I like pretty pedestrian, domestic things. I want a wife, I want kids. I like ceremony. I want to carve pumpkins and decorate Christmas trees and sh*t like that.”
