Kanye West bought a home in Malibu Beach in September 2021. In the wake of his imminent divorce from Kim Kardashian, Ye bought a house across the street from his estranged wife. It appears, West may have been hit by the supply chain crisis, because his floor-to-ceiling renovation of his Malibu home is far from completion.
TMZ reports that Ye paid just a bit over $57 million for the Malibu beachfront home. He’s using a famous architect, Tadao Ando. It seems, Kanye can’t seem to accelerate the process. Then again, Kanye is famous for coming up with a plan and then changing it until it’s exactly to his liking.
The mansion was previously held by Richard Sachs, a financier, and Ashley Olsen’s ex-boyfriend, who purchased it for $1.9 million. The four-bedroom, 4,000-square-foot home stands on a 5,672-square-foot lot near a public beach, which is huge by Malibu standards for beachfront property. It should be noted, when Kanye bought the mansion, it was listed for $75 million.
The latest report on Ye’s malibu mansion comes after he was seen talking with Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown and Brown’s former Celtics teammate, Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving. It seems Kanye West is hinting at the joining of another NBA star to his Donda Sports team.
The controversial guard is allegedly on bad terms with his longtime footwear and apparel sponsor, Nike, which sparked the Irving to Donda Sports rumors to start circulating almost immediately. Ye and Nike also have quite a rather interesting history. Stay tuned to Thirsty for further updates.
