Craig Robinson made a name for himself in shows such as ‘The Office’ and ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine.’ He is also famous for his current Pizza Hut campaign. Robinson is a beloved actor who continues to do what he feels is best. He also stopped a comedy show for a good reason.
According to TMZ, Craig Robinson had to cancel his comedy show moments before going on stage, after a gunman began shooting inside the comedy club. Sadly, gun violence has become an all too common trend in America.
Gunshots began at around 9 PM Saturday night at the Comedy Zone in North Carolina. Everyone in attendance for the show rushed towards the exit for their safety.
The gunman flashed his gun as he entered the venue and, he demanded that everyone leave as stated by police officers. Then he fired one round, but no one was injured.
Robinson left the venue as well and made his way to the Metro Credit Union Amphitheater where Big Time Rush was mid-concert. The Amphitheater is close to the comedy club.
Craig says, “I’m safe. I’m cool. It was wild I was in the green room and they’re like ‘everybody get out!’ It was a moment for sure.” The shooter was also arrested by police. We hope such an incident doesn’t ever happen again.
