“Clueless” star Alicia Silverstone gained prominence at an early age when she was featured in Aerosmith’s music video “Cryin.” The actress has been involved in many projects, most notably as the iconic DC superhero Batgirl in “Batman and Robin.” The star revealed an interesting factoid about her personal life the other day.
Speaking on “The Ellen Fisher” podcast, Silverstone revealed that she and her 11-year-old son Bear “still sleep together.” The actress shares the pre-teen with her ex-husband Christopher Jarecki. Silverstone spoke about her attachment parenting style and joked that she might “get trouble” for her comment.
The California native also spoke about the “elimination communication” tactics used when raising her son. She explained that she rarely used diapers when potty training him.
It’s so awesome. It’s so easy. When I was done feeding him, he would go to the bathroom in the toilet. When he woke up from a nap, he went to the bathroom.
There was a period of time where I was watching him naked and watching the cues. The cues part for me was really fun because I thought that he was flirting with me because he would do this little smile. That’s when he had to pee.
The actress has been vocal about her “alternative” parenting in the past. She received backlash from fans who disagreed with how she raised her son. Despite this, Silverstone remains defiant and comfortable with her relationship with Bear.
