Britney Spears has been through a lot in past years. The singer’s 13-year conservatorship was terminated, and she was finally granted freedom. Robin Greenhill, Britney Spears’ former employee, has hired two attorneys ahead of their legal battle against the pop diva’.

According to Page Six, the woman accused of assisting Britney Spears’ father in spying on the pop singer has hired two lawyers. Robin Greenhill, a Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group employee, “Very recently” hired David C. Scheper and Katherine Farkas of the Los Angeles legal firm Winston & Strawn as her “personal counsel.” In the petition, Scheper stated that he “spoke via telephone” with Spears’ high-powered attorney, Mathew Rosengart.

He spoke with him on Monday and requested that the next court hearing on the “Toxic” singer’s terminated conservatorship be postponed so that he and Farkas could “get up to speed” on the case. Rosengart, on the other hand, emailed Scheper on Tuesday “opposing” the request to move the date from July 27th to August 11th prompting Scheper to urge the court to make the final decision.

“The extension of time is sought in good faith and not for the purpose of needless delay.”

However, Rosengart stated in a separate filing that Greenhill had already retained lawyers from a different firm and that the hearing should not be postponed just because she “wants additional counsel to represent her.” LA Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny is set to rule on whether Rosengart may depose Greenhill and her supervisor, Tri Star founder Lou Taylor, about their role in Spears’ conservatorship at the upcoming hearing. Penny will also determine if Tri Star must turn over case-related records.

Jamie, Taylor, and Greenhill have all denied any wrongdoing, including conducting a secret surveillance operation. Tri-Star left Britney’s team in November 2020, seven months before she openly called her conservatorship “abusive.”

Penny ordered Jamie to appear for a deposition with Rosengart by August 12th and give over any conservatorship-related documents in his possession last week. Let’s see what happens. To get the latest updates, keep an eye on Thirsty.
