‘Harry Potter’ Star Miriam Margolyes Says Arnold Schwarzenegger Farted In Her Face

Miriam Margolyes became popular among ‘Harry Potter’ fans for her role as Professor Sprout in the famous series. Although she is most well-known for her role in the iconic teen wizard franchise, she has had quite an accomplished career. In the late 90s, Miriam even got to act alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The two shared the screen in the supernatural action flick, ‘End of Days.’ During their time on set, Miriam Margolyes found Arnold to be very rude. She shared a story of a particularly vile gesture by the ‘Terminator’ star.

Speaking with the ‘I’ve Got News For You‘ podcast, Miriam recounted a tale of flatulence. She said that Arnold Schwarzenegger farted on her face while they were co-stars. During a scene where Arnold’s character was killing Margolyes’, he let one rip right in her face.

“He was actually quite rude. He farted in my face,” she said. “Now, I fart, of course, I do — but I don’t fart in people’s faces. He did it deliberately, right in my face.

It was during the filming of End of Days in Los Angeles and I was playing Satan’s sister and he was killing me. He had me in a position where I couldn’t escape. Lying on the floor. And he just farted. It wasn’t on film, it was in one of the pauses but I haven’t forgiven him for it.”

Farting in a co-star’s face isn’t the usual professionalism one would expect from Arnold Schwarzenegger. While the moment has long been forgotten by most, Miriam Margolyes hasn’t forgotten. She has not forgiven Arnold, either.
