Anya Taylor-Joy Marries Malcolm McRae In ‘Secret’ Courthouse Wedding

Anya Taylor-Joy is an actress and model who has won several accolades, including a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award, in addition to a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award. She is best known for her roles in Queen’s Gambit and Peaky Blinders. Anya and her musician lover Malcolm McRae has now tied the knot in a secret judicial ceremony in the US.

According to Page Six, The Queen’s Gambit actress and singer Malcolm reportedly wed less than nine months after becoming “official” together. After exchanging vows, according to a source who spoke with the publication, Anna flew to Australia to begin filming the prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road, Furiosa, with Tom Hardy.

The newly-wed couple plans to hold a huge ceremony with more guests when Anya’s filming is through, and she is able to stay at her LA home for a longer time. Anya, who prefers to keep her personal affairs discreet, originally ignited engagement rumors when she was seen wearing a diamond ring on her fourth finger just last month.

After her alleged wedding, the Miami-born actress has since been photographed with the ring numerous more times, most recently on Monday in Sydney. Even though Anya prefers to keep their relationship under wraps, the couple has been frequently photographed together and doesn’t hesitate to keep their relationship a secret when out and about.

Malcolm posted a photo of Anya on his Instagram account and said that he was “besotted” with her, which seemed to corroborate relationship rumors. In a rare interview with Vogue in March, Anya gushed about the connection: “I said to my partner the other day that he was my hobby. I see reading as something that I have to do. He loved it because he’s the same.”

Rocker Malcolm, on the other hand, is a member of the musical duet with bandmate Kane Ritchotte. They play melodic rock and roll and are currently contracted to Warner Records. Our heartfelt congratulations to the newly married couple and best wishes for their future.
