‘Elvis’ Actress Shonka Dukureh Discovered Dead In Her Apartment

Shonka Dukureh, the actress most known for her part in the film “Elvis,” was found dead. She was most known for playing Big Mama Thornton in the film and reprised the same role in Doja Cat’s “Vegas” music videos.

According to TMZ, Shonka was found dead on Thursday in a bedroom inside her Nashville apartment. Shonka’s young children found her and quickly alerted the neighbor, who dialed 911 at 9:30 a.m.

At this moment, officials believe there is no evidence of foul play in the actress’ death. It was noted, Investigators are waiting for autopsy findings before determining the cause of death.
