Lady Gaga’s dog walker was shot in a 2021 armed robbery. Two of Lady Gaga’s French bulldogs were stolen and eventually returned. The US Marshals Service is looking for a guy who was wrongfully freed from detention after being detained for fatally shooting a dog walker employed by Lady Gaga.
According to The Guardian, the government organization revealed a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the capture of James Howard Jackson in a recent statement. A bureaucratic error resulted in Jackson’s incorrect release in April, more than a year after the shooting, despite the fact that he was charged with robbery and attempted murder.
A superseding grand jury indictment was used in place of the initial charges against Jackson by the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office. Jackson was mistakenly freed by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office during this procedure. Five people were detained in relation to the incident, which occurred on February 24 of last year, with Jackson being one of them.
Ryan Fischer, Lady Gaga’s dog walker, was out walking the pop star’s three French bulldogs, Asia, Koji, and Gustav. In the incident’s video, a white car can be seen approaching. Out jumped two individuals who made an attempt to seize the dogs. A man, apparently Jackson, pulled out a revolver and shot Fischer once before running away with two of the dogs.
Fischer had a non-fatal chest gunshot wound. A week after the incident, he said on Instagram that he had “a very close call with death.” Lady Gaga launched a $500,000 no-questions-asked bounty for the safe return of her two missing dogs.
