Valerie Loureda recently retired from Bellator MMA and decided to fulfil her dream to become a pro wrestler. Now that she’s in WWE, she is ready to make an impact. Loureda also wants to work with Charlotte Flair in WWE.
Loureda confirmed her departure from the world of MMA and signed a contract with WWE. The 23-year-old will make her Performance Center debut this month. She also made it clear she wants to face Ronda Rousey in the future.
While speaking Speaking with HOT 97, Valerie Loureda was asked which WWE Superstar she’s excited to work with. She made it clear Charlotte Flair is at the top of her list.
“Charlotte Flair. She actually followed me and she messaged me and I felt a lot of support because when I went to WrestleMania [38], I was watching her and I just saw her star power, you know? The way she was able to engage people, bring it in and I just thought it was so amazing so I’ve been studying her a lot and when I was at my tryout in Orlando, I was like, ‘I’m nervous.’ She was like, ‘You’re okay. Tell coach Smiley I said hi’ and she was so cute. So I really like her and I’ve been watching a lot of her promos and the way she works the mic and wrestles and just, I love her.”
Valerie Loureda, at the age of 23, is still quite young. With a 4-1 MMA record, the sky is truly the limit for the young star. It remains to be seen how she will fare in WWE.
