Eminem is regarded as one of the most prominent rappers of all time. The Detroit rapper has a long list of accomplishments behind him. Eminem apparently forgot he was in Dr. Dre’s famed “Still D.R.E.” video, raising concerns that his memory may not be what it once was.
In a new video advertising his current collaboration with Snoop Dogg, “From The D 2 The LBC,” the two talk about their earlier on-screen collaborations. It includes the 2001 movie “The Wash” and the music video for Dre’s 1999 smash track. Slim Shady looked perplexed after Snoop mentioned his appearance in “Still D.R.E.”
Eminem asked: “Was I in that video?”
Snoop explained: “Yeah, you was running on the beach. That was like your debut album.”
Eminem replied: “I was? Why the f-ck do I not remember? … What the f-ck? You gotta show me that sh-t ’cause I don’t remember.”
Em’s memory didn’t come back until Snoop told him that he was sprinting on the beach in his boxers, surrounded by women. “Ohhh yeah! Ok, ok. Now I remember.” He said that he was thinking of his performance in “Forgot About Dre” and couldn’t remember a beach scene.
Snoop Dogg and Eminem have released their first collaboration in almost two decades, complete with a partly animated song video in which they celebrate their respective hometowns. Snoop Dogg admitted that Eminem had pushed him to level up his bars. Watch Em and Snoop’s conversation below.
