Things went down for Remy Marshall, also known as Fetty Luciano, who was arrested and charged with attempted murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, and reckless endangerment. Now the rapper is in a heap of trouble.
The NY Post reports that police say Luciano was detained Thursday, July 21st in connection with a gunshot at a fancy Long Island hotel pool party earlier this month that injured three people. The rapper is accused of wounding two party-goers and a security officer during a private party on July 10th at The Mansion at Glen Cove, a luxury hotel on Long Island’s “Gold Coast.”
According to police, the shooting erupted as the security officer was attempting to break up a confrontation between two individuals. According to officials, the accused shooter fled the area before officers arrived.
When the shots rang out, some 150 to 200 people were at the party, which was billed online as the “Big Fendi Celebrity B-Day Pool Party,” causing a commotion among visitors.
The three victims were treated at a hospital for non-life threatening injuries. According to Glen Cove Chief William Whitton, officials were able to “negotiate the surrender and arrest” of Marshall after a multi-agency inquiry that included assistance from the NYPD’s weapons suppression branch.
Marshall is scheduled to be arraigned in Nassau County on Friday. Stay tuned to Thirsty for more updates on this developing story.
