Marvel Cinematic Universe was one ambitious project back in 2007, which began with Iron Man. Now it has fully expanded into a series of 29 films and dozens of television series. However, Marvel isn’t done with future planning for the MCU yet, as there remain countless untold stories.
MCU’s Phase 4 came after Avengers: Endgame, at the end of the Infinity Saga. With Tony Stark dead, the Avengers went their separate ways through their own journeys. New heroes came along in the forms of The Eternals and Shang-Chi. Other Avengers also received solo films, such as Thor, Dr. Strange, Spider-Man, and the Scarlet Witch.
The final film of Marvel’s Phase 4 has been revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con, and it will be Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. With the passing of Chadwick Boseman, Black Panther 2 is set to explore the right and vibrant world of Wakanda, along with all the characters from the first film.
Marvel has already plans for Phase 5. The Eternals set up Mahershala Ali’s Blade, while Deadpool 3 will finally welcome the character to the MCU. Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania will kick off Phase 5 on February 17, 2023. It’ll end with Thunderbolts, on July 26, 2024. Other planned content in between is given below.
