Elon Musk Accused Of Affair With Google Founder Sergey Brin’s Wife

Elon Musk has been having an extremely difficult time backing out of his Twitter deal. The $43 billion deal, which came from Musk himself, is off the table for him. It also recently came to light that Musk had an affair with the wife of Google founder Sergey Brin.

According to reports, the divorce of Sergey Brin and his wife was sparked by Elon Musk’s alleged romance with her in December of last year. Friends of the couple recently spoke to The Wall Street Journal. They said that Musk’s relationship with Nicole Shanahan pushed the Google billionaire to file for divorce in January.

It’s unclear how long the relationship lasted. However, it happened a month after Musk discreetly welcomed twins with a former official from one of his firms, and in the same month that he had a daughter through surrogacy with his ex-girlfriend Grimes. In February, he began seeing his current partner, Natasha Bassett.

One of the most costly divorces in Silicon Valley history began in January when Brin, the seventh-richest man in the world with an estimated net worth of $93 billion, filed for divorce. At the time, it was unclear why they got divorced. He filed for divorce and stated that there were “irreconcilable differences,” but he requested that the docket be sealed to protect his little daughter.

Elon and Sergey’s friendship, which had lasted for years, came to an abrupt end as a result of the affair. In 2008, at the height of the financial crisis, Sergey invested $500,000 in Tesla. Elon has also talked positively about sleeping at Sergey’s residences.

A daughter was born to Brin and Shanahan in 2018. They are battling to keep the divorce’s terms quiet because of concern that their daughter will be subjected to “harassment” or “kidnapping,” therefore the Google founder has asked to split custody of her.
