Johnny Knoxville Pushed Through Huge Botch During WrestleMania 38 Match

Johnny Knoxville appeared on WWE television back in January and immediately got into a feud with Sami Zayn. It further intensified during the Royal Rumble event and continued after that as well. Knoxville also pushed through a huge botch during his WrestleMania 38 match as well.

Sami Zayn squared off against Johnny Knoxville in a match at WrestleMania 38 Night 2. The 15-minute match turned out to be better than expected for many as well. Johnny Knoxville also defeated Sami Zayn by bringing Jackass to WrestleMania 38.

While speaking on Steve Austin: The Broken Skull Sessions, Sami Zayn explained that the giant mouse trap’s rope broke before the spot. However, Knoxville managed to manually use the prop.

“You gotta give Johnny Knoxville a lot of respect for this [the mouse trap spot]. I’ll explain because what happened is he pulled the rope and the rope broke. I mean, if he waited even two extra seconds, the finish is dead flat. But he saw it broke and he instantly, earlier in the day I actually saw him talking to his people with the mouse trap thing. He’s like, ‘OK, if it doesn’t go off because you just show me how to do it manually.’ Full marks for not panicking, because that would have killed it right there. He actually saved the day.

We will have to wait and see when Johnny Knoxville will make his return to WWE television. His previous run turned out to be a success and fans would love to see him back as well.
