Rolling Loud Miami just ended, and it was a very event-filled and momentous weekend. Kanye West surprisingly showed up after cancelling his set, Saweetie attempted to date an attendee, Kid Cudi stormed off the stage mid-performance after fans kept throwing trash on stage, and much more. However, the hip-hop festival franchise has turned its attention to the future now.
Rolling Loud revealed its plans to expand into Thailand in a tweet on Twitter. The tweet was simple and simply confirmed that the event is coming next year.
“Rolling Loud Thailand.
See you 2023.”
The event’s specifics are vague. The lineup, any event dates, and the precise location in Thailand have not yet been disclosed by the festival. Rolling Loud has previously ventured into Asia, so this won’t be their first time.
Due to the widespread anti-government protests taking place at the time, the event that was scheduled for October was canceled. The show would have featured artists like Smokepurpp, Wiz Khalifa, Playboi Carti, Ski Mask The Slump God, and Migos.
If Rolling Loud does actually expand to Thailand, it will join a number of other festivals there, such as Hammersonic and 88rising’s Head In The Clouds in Jakarta. Stay tuned to Thirsty for more updates.
